Every year, the Loran Scholars Foundation assess over 5,000 applicants and selects up to 36 promising young Canadians as Loran Scholars, based on evidence of integrity, courage, compassion, grit, and a high level of personal autonomy.

In 2020, Inquiry Hub student Adam Matthews-Kott was selected as one of the few chosen for this scholarship. Adam chose to attend McGill University to study Geology. This wasn’t a surprise to us, he had a passion for rocks, and attended SFU geology field trips while attending Inquiry Hub.
